Monday Memory Motivation... Disney

For my first Monday Memory Motivation, I am going to start with a memory from just last month. The diva and I journeyed to the Mouse’s House and we had such a great time. We attended Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. It was a fun time just for us. No Kevin and no one else. Complete girl time. We ate garbage… (junk food) and got up early or late, depending on our mood. Stayed in the Parks till they ran us out and generally had a fabulous time.

As you all know, we certainly love that Mouse. It’s more than that though. It’s time away together from the everyday hustle and bustle of hectic life. Now you don’t need to go to Disney World to do that, you can recreate it anywhere that appeals to you. Some people enjoy camping (shudder), hiking (more shuddering), the beach (everyday life for us) or just sitting on their sofa at home. Everyone should find their own happiness to make their own memories.

Something new…

Okay friends and fans I am going to try something new on the blog. Themes! You all know I love a theme! Themes are the best.

life has a funny way of getting in the way...

I have all these wonderful (at least to me) ideas or plans to update the blog and then BAM! Life smacks you right in the kisser and you run out of time. Or is that just me??

Well in the last little bit since I was last here so  much has transpired.

A trip to Decatur, Ga to the Decatur Book Festival completely threw me for a loop... FYI... if you are going to Decatur and your GPS routes you to Mooreland Ave, it's drunk. DO NOT LISTEN. I repeat do not listen. Find a new route, ask it to avoid ghetto... something. That is a scary place.

From there back to home and before I knew it, it was my birthday and we were celebrating.

The next thing I know, it's off to Southern Progress (Home of Southern Living, Coastal Living and Cooking Light) in Birmingham for A Showcase of Style by South Walton. More photos to come. :)
